Africa Technical foundation (ATF) founded in 2012 is an education curriculum development and review, vocational and professional training center, head quartered in Windhoek, Namibia. A non-governmental organization that has operational programs throughout the country.

We work with national governments, their agencies, ministries and other NGO’s to accomplish the Millennium Development Goals (MDG’s) set forth by the United Nations and other member states. ATF currently works with National Institute of Education and Development (NIED) on a number of curriculum-centered activities and mainly focuses on Goal four (4) Education under the MDG’s:

  • To this effect we have an enviable reputation for curriculum implementation, Curriculum development and review with NIED and vocational and professional training institutions that offer the highest quality and standards of education in Namibia
  • Focusing on capacity building to enhance quality of teaching and learning we are running training programs particularly for teachers and school management e.g. HOD and Principals
  • Development of teaching and learning aids, research, writing, printing and distribution teaching and learning material have been our strength.

On the Vocational skills development set we focus on establishment and operations of VTC’ with specific focus on the school dropouts, poor and marginalized communities and unskilled youth throughout the country. The training will equip them with the necessary skills that will enable them to enter the Namibian job market, or start their own businesses, which in turn will economically improve their own lives and enable them to contribute to the Namibian economy.
